I will dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
